Description
The Wings of Fire Weigela starts out in spring with medium green foliage. The few flowers that bloom in spring are pink and show a hint of Lavender. These flowers will bloom again sporadically throughout the summer. As summer ends, the Wings of Fire truly lives up to its name. The foliage changes into hues of bronze, copper, burgundy and red. Once fall arrives, the leaves are a glorious fiery red with burnt orange undertones.
For placement, the semi-dwarf shrub is not very picky and can grow almost anywhere there is decent soil that drains adequately.
