Description
Red Prince Weigela is a deciduous shrub with repeat blooms. The foliage stays bright green all season. In late spring trumped-shaped flowers of radiant red will cover the entire shrub and last for weeks. The foliage stays bright green all season. At the end of summer, it will once again burst into magnificent scarlet colored blooms. These stunning blooms attract pollinators, butterflies and hummingbirds.
For placement, Red Prince prefers full sun, but will tolerate some shade as well. It can even adapt to clay soils.
